Xuanxiang Wu, known as Sean, is a young Chinese pianist. He was born in 2007 and has played the piano since the age of 5.
From 2016 to 2021, he studied in the Music Middle School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He has been studying at the Juilliard Pre-College since September 2021. Sean lives in New York.

He has been guided and highly praised by numerours enowned musicians, including Gary Graffman, Susan Starr, Solomon Mikowsky, Katarzyna Popova–Zydroń, Andre Michal-Schub, Lgnat Solzhenitsyn, Vladimir Ovchinnikov.
He has performed in well known venues across the globe and collaborated with numerous orchestras. His achievement was also recognized by countless prizes, scholarships and performance opportunities.

In 2023 he began an artistic collaboration with Lorenzo Pescini, Italian composer performing “Back to the Roots“. “The melody of this composition – Sean said – It’s beautiful and melodious, and as I play it, it seems like everything is back to the beginning simpler and more natural. I feel an unprecedented sense of peace and relief in my heart.“

Xuanxiang Wu, conosciuto come Sean, è un giovane pianista cinese. È nato nel 2007 e suona il pianoforte dall’età di 5 anni.
Dal 2016 al 2021, ha studiato nella Scuola Media Musicale Affiliata al Conservatorio di Musica di Shanghai. Ha studiato alla pre-college Juilliard dal settembre 2021. Sean vive a New York.

Nel 2023 inizia una collaborazione artistica con Lorenzo Pescini, compositore italiano che esegue “Ritorno alle radici”. “La melodia di questa composizione – Sean ha detto – È bella e melodiosa, e mentre la suono, sembra che tutto sia tornato all’inizio più semplice e naturale.
