Voidforged: metal shaped by the void – Born from the meeting of two worlds, the American and the Italian, Voidforged is a metal band ready to shake the foundations of the international scene. Five musicians united by a clear vision: to create a sound that combines power, melody, and darkness in a single universal language. Their first single, “Heaven in Hell,” just released on all platforms, is only the beginning of a journey that will lead to their debut album and their highly anticipated first tour, “Void XXVI.”
An explosive quintet
The band’s vocals are provided by Ethan J. Graves, an American singer with a gritty, theatrical tone. Raised in Chicago on gospel and metalcore, Ethan honed his style through years of underground live performances, becoming a frontman capable of transforming any stage into a collective ritual.
On guitars we find two complementary figures: Lorenzo “Axe” Vitale, from Naples, a virtuoso of tapping and tight riffs, and Mark Holloway, a Californian with roots in thrash and sludge. Their alchemy is one of the driving forces behind Voidforged: speed and technique mix with groove and dark atmospheres, creating a compact and evocative wall of sound.
The bass is in the hands of Giulia Ferri, from Milan, who stands out for her aggressive yet refined approach. Before joining the project, Giulia was a session musician in various prog and fusion bands, and her experience adds depth and thickness to the band’s sound.
Completing the line-up behind the drums is Daniel Cross, a Texan drummer who has toured Europe with several metalcore bands. His style is a whirlwind of blast beats and syncopated grooves, capable of bringing energy and surgical precision to Voidforged’s songs.
Voidforged, a band with an enigmatic name
The band’s name, “Voidforged”, came from an idea shared during a late-night jam session: emptiness as raw material, forged into music through sweat and passion. “You can create anything from nothing, you just need vision and inner fire,” Ethan said in an interview.
With “Heaven in Hell,” Voidforged immediately show their stylistic signature: a balance between brutality and melody. Lyrics that explore the contrasts of existence and a sound that recalls the great legends of metal but looks ahead with personality.
Next 12 months will mark their debut with their first single and accompanying music video. They will then continue in 2026 with the “Void XXVI” tour, which will start in Italy and then cross national borders.
