Quando Londra dorme, nella profondita’ della notte, London Eye appare come un immenso arco celeste che rischiara le forme morbide delle nuvole.
Il riverbero della sua luce azzurra sembra sciogliersi come colore ad olio nell’oscurita’ dell’acqua ferma.
Le panchine che guardano il fiume sono ora alcove per gli innamorati; i battelli in sosta davanti al molo, dopo l’ultima crociera della sera, sembrano posare sulla superficie dell’acqua che pare immobile come vetro iridescente.
La scala che scende…
sulla riva sabbiosa del Tamigi, bagnata di luci argentate, sembra unire la realta’ della metropoli alla magia del fiume.
In tanti conserveranno Londra cosi’ nella loro memoria, come una musa vestita di luci che incanta gli occhi e ruba il cuore di chi ama respirare bellezza.
Questa immagine notturna di Londra, intitolata “While London Sleeps” , appare nel video “London – Bridge of emotions”, accompagnata dal brano “L’uomo che amava i draghi” del Maestro Lorenzo Pescini, le cui splendide note evocano la dimensione magica del sogno, della fantasia, dell’immaginazione.

Deep in the night, while London sleeps, the London Eye appears like an immense celestial arc that illuminates the soft shapes of the clouds.
The reverberation of its blue light seems to melt like oil paint in the obscurity of the still water.
The benches overlooking the river are now alcoves for the lovers; the boats anchored in front of the pier, after the last cruise of the evening, seem to lay on the surface of the water that appears motionless as iridescent glass.
A stairway that leads down…
to the sandy shore of the Thames, bathed in silvery light, seems to connect the reality of the metropolis to the magic of the river.
Many will keep London in their memories just as it appears tonight, as a muse dressed in lights that enchants the eyes and steals the hearts of those who love breathing beauty.
This nocturne image of London, entitled ” While London Sleeps” appears in the video “London – Bridge of emotions” accompanied by the song “The Man Who Loved the dragons ” by Maestro Lorenzo Pescini, whose beautiful notes evoke the magical dimension of dream , fantasy , imagination.
